We will investigate the health of the sediment control dam using elastic wave tomography.

Our company conducts health assessments of embankments using elastic wave tomography. We evaluate the overall health of the dam by combining the main investigation, which is elastic wave tomography, with supplementary investigations such as visual inspections, image enhancement technology, and thermographic surveys. Additionally, based on the results, we carry out detailed examinations such as sample collection to assess the health of the embankment, and we propose whether repairs are necessary, as well as the locations and methods for repairs based on the evaluation results. We will investigate the condition of the concrete bridge through physical exploration.

Our company conducts concrete bridge condition surveys using physical exploration methods. Infrared thermography allows us to investigate areas that are otherwise inaccessible. By identifying the differences in radiative temperatures between deteriorated and sound areas, we can pinpoint the deteriorated sections and use this as a basis for detailed investigations. Additionally, we measure the minute vibrations from impacts using elastic wave tomography to determine the distribution of elastic wave (P-wave) velocities within the concrete. We evaluate the condition of the measurement points based on the correlation between the condition and the elastic wave velocity. Using RC radar, we non-destructively detect deformations within the concrete that cannot be visually confirmed. Defects, voids, foreign objects, etc., appear as abnormal reflection patterns of electromagnetic waves. *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.*
